Foxes Rach Cottage was so lovely, lots of attention to detail very clean and well equiped and very dog friendly, we loved the hot tub. The welcome pack was great with homemade brownies, wine and homemade blackcurrent vodka, how amazing and what a treat. The wye valley is so stunning I didnt want to leave. Mrs F, LONDON, Greater London 21 September 2010
Foxes Reach is a beautiful cottage and perfectly located, with lots of places to visit/see only a short drive away. The owners go to great lengths to make sure you have an enjoyable and stress free stay. There are many pubs and restaurants in the area offering very good food and so you don't have to slave over a hot oven! The hot tub in the garden is an ideal way to finish off a busy day of sight seeing too! Mr T, WIMBORNE, Dorset 29 August 2010
A lovely cottage that exceeded our expectations. The owners of Foxes Reach go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay, from the information they provide before your holiday to the friendly welcome on arrival. The cottage is in a great location with lots of places to visit only a short drive away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Foxes Reach to anyone thinking of staying in Monmouthshire.

The cottage lived up to our expectations and enjoys a delightful setting. We have enjoyed the local scenery taking walks and visited Monmouth, Ross, Chepstow and Tintern Abbey. The dog enjoyed herself and the garden has been a delight. Thank you for the warm welcome! Mrs H, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire 24 August 2010
We have had a great holiday. The cottage was ideal and we would certainly recommend it to our friends and family. The Wye Valley has got numerous places well worth a visit - we all enjoyed Tintern Abbey, Symonds Yat, Chepstow, Clearwell Caves and Caldicot Castle, and we had some excellent meals out at pubs en route. We also went a bit further afield to visit Brecon which was very enjoyable. Thanks very much for the wine and blackcurrant vodka, they were both delicious! Mrs W, HORNCHURCH, Essex 06 June 2010
We, (sisters from Canada and Cardiff )got together for our Christmas in May again. A second great time had by us all at Foxes Reach - thank you! Mrs L, CARDIFF, 28 May 2010
We have had a great week. The cottage is very cosy, well equipped and the hot tub is a real bonus - and thanks for the wine, fresh flowers and fruit vodka, much appreciated! We have been on long walks every day (even the weather was good), and we recommend Whitestone and Cleddon Falls, Mallards Pike with its miles of walks and a long beautiful lake and forestry, Symonds Yat which was steep but with lots of choices of waymarked paths and fantastic views, and also Brockweir to Tintern and Devils Pulpit. A great area with loads to do and we wish we could stay longer - we will recommend you to friends! Mrs M, SWINDON, 23 March 2010
It was a beautiful cottage in lovely countryside. Mr H, HUNTINGDON, Cambridgeshire 07 January 2010
This was our very first holiday together and it was perfect. We really like the cottage and it had a cosy and warm feeling to it. It is set in a lovely location, with many sights to see only within a short drive away. The hot tub was a lot of fun and made us feel so relaxed! We will receommend Foxes Reach to family and friends as it was a smashing holiday and we really enjoyed it - thanks! D, STOKE-ON-TRENT 23 November 2009
Not long enough - we will have to come back again! A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location, the walks and scenery are fabulous and we have all really enjoyed it. The cottage is lovely and what can you say about the hot tub! See you next year! Mr B, Witney, Oxfordshire 05 October 2009
When you walk into Foxes Reach it is a bit like being on the TV programme “Build a new life in the Country” - you get the “Wow” factor and you can stay there for a week! Thank you for a great week in a wonderful cottage, we will recommend it to our friends - thank you! Mrs S, Lincoln, Lincolnshire 06 September 2009
We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was perfect, warm, welcoming every time we came home and was really well equipped - we could not have asked for anything more. The hot tub was fantastic as was the blackberry vodka! We recommend the delicious food at the Walnut Tree and we also had a good meal at the Lion in Trellech. Mr M, Ballymena, County Antrim 04 August 2009
Foxes Reach was the best cottage we have ever stayed at. Very clean and well equipped and in a beautiful area with such a lot to do.
Thank you to the lovely neighbour who helped so kindly when something silly happened to us, we hope you will all enjoy telling the amusing tale - thank you again! Mr W, St. Albans 04 August 2009
The cottage is in a lovely, peaceful area with loads of points of interest in the surrounding area - some within walking distance. Mrs C, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire 06 June 2009
Foxes Reach is such a fantastic place to stay. The facilities are excellent and the cottage and its surroundings are idyllic. You arrive stressed with every day life and leave totally relaxed. The only downside is the fact that you have to leave - I don't think I would be able to stay anywhere else now after this experience. Back to Foxes Reach next time! Mrs L, CARDIFF 05 June 2009

We were made to feel very welcome in a nice, homely cottage with a woodburner, the homemade blackcurrant vodka was very much appreciated after a spell in the hot tub which was delightful! There is plenty to do in area with lots of lovely views over the Wye Valley. The Anchor Inn and Moon and Sixpence in Tintern were both nice, friendly places to eat with generous portions at a reasonable price. Mrs E, SWANSCOMBE, 15 April 2009
We have enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage very much. The Dean Forest Railway is worth a visit and you can have a ride on a steam train on Sundays. We hope to come back one day. Mrs G, DERBY 12 April 2009
We had a wonderful new year week ! We thoroughly enjoyed the woodburner and the hot tub on the starry evenings. We had a long walk on new years day in peaceful and very frosty woods. The cottage was warm and brilliantly equipped and thank you for the real tree and the many thoughtful extras you provide. Mrs S, HERNE BAY 08 March 2009
We loved the walks, especially devils pulpit and the woods were so quiet and peaceful. We spent all day in the forest of daen and really appreciated the woodburner when we lit it for a special night - my birthday. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very cosy and brilliantly equipped. We enjoyed the countryside and there is so much to see we will have to come back. Thank you for having us! Mr B, Falmouth 21 January 2009
